I had the very wonderful and fun opportunity to welcome "up-n-comer" Tylor into studio. Not only did we have a lot of laughs during the shoot but I had the pleasure of being serenaded as I switched backgrounds and props with some pretty awesome guitar music. Back to bookings as normal

An update for those thinking about booking appointments: I filled all of the immediate spots that I had open for the month. So booking are back to being around 2.5 weeks to a month into the future depending on the type of shoot that you are looking for. Email me @ theshidelers@gmail.com to set up a time!

Maternity Pictures

This past month I have had the wonderful opportunity to do 2 maternity shoots. Soon-to-be moms are some of my favorite subjects, they are iconically feminine and blossoming with life. While being pregnant really isn't frequently that glamourous for a couple of hours in Studio baby bumps become all the rage! A special thank you to Megan and Kathleen for sharing their wonderful moments with me.

I have had a couple of people reschedule this month so I have some openings that I would love to fill.
If you're not yet familiar with my work I mostly do studio photography but love to get on site on Saturdays. Upto 3 people per studio shoot (I would love to do more but my studio gets pretty squishy) 5 people on site or in your home. Really reasonable rates and over 2 years of experience. Still trying to figure out this blogging thing. I tried to add a poll and a counter to my blog today. Despite how easy my husband made it sound with all the free "copy and paste this html" files I found they all just made for some ugly and frustrating posts that I have now deleted because either a) they looked really bad or b) they didn't work as far as I could tell (and usually both) Any of the pro bloggers out there... Firstly, wow thanks for reading my ramblings and secondly HELP!!!

My daughter and I went to the park today. Luckily I thought to bring my camera. I sometimes regret having tons of pictures of other people and their childern but not for my own family- but not today! I would love your feedback, which photo do you like the best?

Take-two: Actually Maintaining a Blog

With all the buzz of life my blog got forgotten- sometimes something really does have to give but a lot has happened recently. Glowing has become quite the endeaver, I have had several clients and many opportunities to practice my craft. Despite the fact that Glowing may cause me to lose more sleep than anything else in my life currently, it has been quite the couple of months! I look forward to posting all the tips and tricks as I find them out. Hopefully, I can become the master of this whole social networking thing like people my age are supposed to be :)
